We’re thrilled to announce the inaugural Scholastic Entertainment Fellowship for Kids and Family Content. This is a new category within Austin Film Festival’s Script Competition, open to feature scripts that are kid-friendly or tailored for a family audience. Three Scholastic Entertainment judges will evaluate scripts that reach the final round and select one winner. The winner will get the opportunity to meet with the Scholastic Entertainment team and adapt one of Scholastic’s published books into a screenplay. Finalists of this category will get the opportunity to meet with a Scholastic Entertainment representative. Further details about the meeting arrangement will be announced.
