Ages 13 – 18

To write a video game is to imagine and bring to life an immersive world. Perhaps you don’t notice it while you’re playing, but video games are all about story. Join us for an introductory course on video game writing, world-building, and the fundamentals of Twine – an easy-to-use software for interactive fiction. Students will develop their own video game concept and learn how to translate that concept to a script.

A maximum of 10 slots are available for each course.

Here’s What You Need:

• Access to the Internet
• A computer with a webcam
• Access to an email in order to receive class zoom invitations and well as class communications
• Please note, for this camp students will be using Twine: a free, online interactive fiction writing software. Students will need to use the same computer browser throughout the entire duration of camp in order to work on their stories.
