Before he was a screenwriter, he worked as a graphic designer
Eric was inspired to become a screenwriter while working as a graphic designer for nuclear scientists and astrophysicists. Their stories and theories stayed with him.
He is no stranger to genre
A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010), Final Destination 5, The Thing (2011), and Lights Out were also written by Heisserer.
