On Story Season 7 Premiere Party & Live Taping
Join AFF for the Season 7 Premiere Party of On Story®. We will feature a live taping of the show with special guest Philipp Meyer. Meyer will discuss the upcoming AMC show The Son, an American western drama based on his 2013 novel of the same name. Tune in to The Son on April 8th!
On Story airs locally on KLRU and is now in over 85% of the national market, airing on PBS-affiliated stations across the country. Past episodes have featured interviews from leading screenwriters and filmmakers Callie Khouri, Larry Wilmore, Harold Ramis, Sydney Pollack, Caroline Thompson, Vince Gilligan, and Matthew Weiner.

Philipp Meyer
Philipp Meyer is the author of the critically lauded novel American Rust, winner of the 2009 Los Angeles Times Book Prize. His second novel, The Son, was an international bestseller and has been translated into over twenty languages. In America, The Son was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and in France it won the Prix Littérature-Monde as well as the Lucien Barrière prize. Meyer is a Guggenheim Fellow and one of the New Yorker’s 20 best writers under 40. He recently adapted The Son into an AMC original series, serving as co-creator, head writer, and executive producer. He lives in Austin, Texas.
