Join AFF for the Season 6 Premiere Party of our Lone Star EMMY® Award-winning television show, On Story®. We will be featuring a live taping of the show with special guest Justin Marks. Marks will be discussing his adaptation of the upcoming Disney film The Jungle Book.

Justin Marks Biography
Justin Marks is the writer of Walt Disney Studios’ upcoming The Jungle Book that was directed by Jon Favreau and will be released worldwide on April 15 of this year. The cast includes: Scarlett Johansson, Bill Murray, Christopher Walken, Giancarlo Esposito, Ben Kingsley, Lupita Nyong’o, Idris Elba, and Neel Seethi starring.
Justin is currently writing Top Gun 2 for Skydance and Paramount Pictures with Tom Cruise set to reprise his iconic role, as well as War Dog for Jerry Bruckheimer.
In television, Justin is the creator of the upcoming Starz TV series Counterpart directed by Morten Tyldum (Imitation Game, Passengers) and starring J.K. Simmons. Justin previously created and Executive Produced his SyFy pilot Rewind, which BermanBraun produced, Jack Bender directed, and starred Shane McRae, Keisha Castle-Hughes, and David Cronenberg. He also sold A Kingdom Far Away to ABC with Lorenzo Di Bonaventura attached to produce.
Previously, Justin wrote Federal Bureau of Physics for David S. Goyer and Warner Bros; The Raven for Universal with Mark Wahlberg
producing; the Disney tent pole movie 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Captain Nemo; Shadow of the Colossus for Sony Pictures based on the video game of the same title. Justin also wrote Green Arrow: Escape from Supermax for D.C. Comics for Warner Bros. Pictures. His feature, Come Sundown is being produced by Voltage with Elgin James attached to direct.
