Finding Sofia is the first feature film of Argentine director and illustrator Nico Casavecchias, a film about personal struggle, self-reinvention, and love. Nico took this opportunity to show the world his unique creativity and talent by creating a narrative film that combines performance and animation. An unconventional love story that will make you laugh. A film about the human struggle to accomplish society’s and our own expectations. It reminds me of all those weak moments in life that lead to making improvised decisions which result in life changing experiences. The cinematography and the lighting along with the character development and narrative work together to create a piece of art that can easily relate to the audience. Definitely, a must-see this festival.
