The Austin Film Festival is dedicated to championing the work of aspiring and established filmmakers, defined as screenwriters, directors, editors, producers, actors and all those artists who use the language of film to tell a story. The AFF furthers the art, craft and business of filmmaking by providing unique cultural events and services, enhancing public awareness and participation, and encouraging dynamic and long-lasting community partnerships.

The Austin Film Festival is a not for profit 501c3 corporation.

Mark Coffey

Mark Coffey is an editor of independent feature films and other fun projects. His credits include The JourneyMan (SXSW audience award), Natural Selection (AFF audience award), Antone's: Home of the Blues, Drop Dead Sexy, and Tim McCanlies' most recent features, The 2 Bobs, and Alabama Moon (regional premiere at AFF this year). Other projects include an ongoing (1984) documentation of the black cowboy/ranching culture in South Texas, concert DVDs for the Asylum Street Spankers, and a wonderful cabaret show featuring the music of Tom Waits that will never see the light of day. So it goes.
