Austin Film Festival’s Young Filmmakers Program is proud to present the 7th Annual Summer Film Camp. The Summer Film Camp offers students, ages 9 – 18, unparalleled access to in-depth, personal instruction on screenwriting, filmmaking and claymation from local industry professionals. All workshops are scheduled from June 15 – August 7 at McCallum High School, home to one of the leading Fine Arts Academies in the United States.

Dark Hero Studios to Judge AFF Sci-Fi Competition
Watchmen co-writer David Hayter and producer Benedict Carver’s Dark Hero Studios will judge the 2009 Austin Film Festival (AFF) Sci-Fi Competition. The Sci-Fi Competition is a sub-category of the Screenplay Competition and includes science fiction, horror, supernatural thriller and fantasy genres.
